Etsy's conversion rate is the share of visits to your shop that ended in an order, so it's orders divided by visits. Type your visits as visitors and your orders as conversions above, and the calculator shows the rate as a percentage to two decimal places. Add what one order is worth and it shows the estimated revenue as well.
Where Etsy shows your visits and orders
- In the Etsy Seller App, tap More in the bottom menu and select Stats.
- Use the dropdown at the top of the page to pick the time period, then copy the Visits and Orders numbers into the calculator.
Etsy counts a visit as one browsing session, so several listing views in one session count as a single visit. An order is one completed purchase however many items are in it, so a buyer who takes three items in one checkout is one conversion.
Visits refresh a few times a day, and Etsy filters out bot traffic again once each day closes. That can lower the visit count and lift the rate, so a full past period gives a steadier number than today.
What the calculator does and doesn't do
Etsy Stats already shows a conversion rate for the period you pick. The calculator helps when you want to check a number, compare two periods side by side, or see what a change in orders or visits would do to the rate before it happens.
It doesn't connect to your Etsy shop, so you type the numbers in. It doesn't take off Etsy fees either. The revenue it shows is orders times the value you enter. Etsy's own revenue figure leaves out shipping and tax, so enter an order value without them if you want the two to line up.
