Google Ads works out conversion rate by dividing conversions by the ad interactions that can be tracked to a conversion in the same period. Put the interactions in the visitors box above and the conversions in the conversions box. The calculator shows the rate as a percentage to two decimal places. Add what one conversion is worth and it also shows the estimated revenue.
How to match the Google Ads number
- 1Pick one date range and take both numbers from it. Google counts conversions and interactions over the same time period.
- 2Type the interactions into the visitors box.
- 3Type the conversions into the conversions box. The rate updates as you type.
50 conversions from 1,000 interactions is a 5% conversion rate. Put 1,000 in visitors and 50 in conversions and you get 5%.

Where this calculator stops
It doesn't connect to your Google Ads account. You type the numbers yourself, and nothing leaves your browser.
It works out one rate at a time. To compare campaigns or conversion actions, run each one's numbers separately. It also won't tell you whether your rate is good. That depends on your offer, your market and what you count as a conversion.
