Your sales conversion rate is the number of sales divided by the number of visitors or leads, shown as a percentage. Type your visitors and your sales and you get the rate, to two decimal places. Add what one sale is worth and you get the estimated revenue too.
Visitors or leads: choose what you divide by
For an online store, divide sales by the people who visited. You get the share of visitors who bought.
For a sales team, type leads where the calculator asks for visitors and closed deals where it asks for conversions. You get the lead-to-deal rate. The two answers will differ a lot for the same business, so only compare a rate against one worked out the same way.
The calculator gives one rate at a time. If your funnel has stages, such as lead to call and call to deal, run it once for each stage.
A worked example
Google Ads defines conversion rate as conversions per interaction, shown as a percentage. Its own example is 50 conversions from 1,000 interactions, which gives 5%. Put in 1,000 visitors and 50 sales and you get 5% too.
From Google Ads Help, read in October 2026.
The calculator works only from the numbers you type. It doesn't connect to your store, CRM or analytics, it doesn't save past results, and it doesn't tell you whether your rate is good for your industry.
