Enter a domain above to see if it's registered with Hostinger. You also get the dates it was registered, last updated and is due to expire, its age in years, its nameservers and its status codes. It works the same for a domain at Hostinger or at any other registrar. It doesn't show the owner's name or contact details.
What the result tells you about a Hostinger domain
- Registrar: the company the domain is registered with. If it names Hostinger, that's where the domain renews.
- Expires: the date the registration runs out unless someone renews it.
- Nameservers: who runs the domain's DNS. A domain can be registered at one company and use another company's nameservers.
- Status: the codes the registry has on record for this domain right now.
Hostinger's support guide says that if the nameservers aren't Hostinger's own, the domain's DNS zone is managed elsewhere. Hostinger's nameserver values can vary from one domain to the next, so compare the result with the ones Hostinger lists for your domain in hPanel.
Why the owner doesn't show
Hostinger's WHOIS privacy protection replaces the registrant's details with those of a proxy server. It's switched on for all recently purchased domains. Registrars can also hide details to follow privacy laws such as the GDPR. This tool doesn't return owner names or contact details for any domain. It shows who a domain is registered with and when.
