If it doesn’t connect
The checklist the connect form shows when a test fails. Check each one in order.
- The plugin is installed AND activated (Plugins list shows SearchBlueprint Integration as active).
- The key was copied exactly from SearchBlueprint -> Settings and starts with sbi_.
- You did not regenerate the key after copying it - regenerating invalidates old keys.
- A security plugin or firewall is not blocking /wp-json/searchblueprint/v1/ (Wordfence, iThemes and some Cloudflare rules block unknown REST routes).
WordPress Plugin is not open yet
The WordPress Plugin connector is built, but we have not yet watched one publish a real article and come back reachable — so its tile is shown and not choosable, and the steps above are what connecting will involve once it opens. The Publishing grid marks which platforms are open today.
