How to connect Duda

Publish posts to your Duda site's blog via the Duda API.

The site name from the editor address, then your API username and password.

The setup guide, in full

Word for word what the connect form asks, in the order it asks. Nothing here wants your Duda password — the credentials below are ones you create and can revoke.

  1. 1

    What's your Duda site name?

Duda calls it the site alias. It is not your domain.

    1. 1Open your Duda dashboard and click this site.
    2. 2In the address bar, copy the code after /site/, e.g. 28c8c0d1.
  2. 2

    Open API Access

API access comes with Duda plans that include it.

    1. 1In the Duda dashboard, click Business Tools, then API Access.
    2. 2No username shown? Click Request Access at the bottom of the page.

No username there? Duda's sales team adds API access to your plan.

  3. 3

Copy your API username and password

They belong to your Duda account, not to one site.

    1. 1Copy the API username and paste it below.
    2. 2Copy the API password. No password? Click Reset next to it.
    3. 3Paste the password below. It is stored encrypted.

Resetting the password stops any other tool that uses the old one.

  4. 4

    Region (optional)

Leave blank for a US account. Enter eu if your dashboard is at my.eu.duda.co.

If it doesn’t connect

The checklist the connect form shows when a test fails. Check each one in order.

  • The site name is the code from the editor URL, not the site's domain.
  • The API user and password belong to the account that owns the site.
  • Your Duda plan includes API access.
  • EU accounts (my.eu.duda.co) need the region set to eu.

Duda is not open yet

The Duda connector is built, but we have not yet watched one publish a real article and come back reachable — so its tile is shown and not choosable, and the steps above are what connecting will involve once it opens. The Publishing grid marks which platforms are open today.
