Wix builds a page's meta tags itself from its SEO fields. Fill in the five fields above and check the title and description counts. Then copy the title and description into that page's SEO basics, one value per field. A shared link to the page shows the same title and description unless you change them in Social Share.
Add the title and description in Wix
- Click Pages & Menu on the left side of the editor.
- Click the More Actions icon next to the page, then open its SEO basics.
- Paste the title from the generator into the title tag field and the description into the meta description field.
Wix fills the page's og:title and og:description from those two fields by default. To use different text when the page is shared, open the Social Share section in your SEO settings. Wix recommends keeping a social title under 80 characters, or part of it may be cut off.
Wix also makes a canonical URL for every page. Only change it in the Advanced SEO tab if more than one URL leads to the same page.
