To validate product schema, paste the page URL above and check two things. Is Product in the list of types? Does every block parse? If Product isn't there, Google has no product markup in JSON-LD to read. If a block doesn't parse, nothing in it counts. Fix both before you look at single properties.
How to check a product page
- 1Paste the full URL of one product page and run the check. You get the page as it's served, which is what Google gets.
- 2Look at the block count. A product page often has more than one block, for example Organization next to Product.
- 3Look for a block that fails to parse. A missing comma or an unclosed quote breaks the whole block, and it usually comes from a theme or plugin template.
- 4Find Product in the declared types. If it's missing, your platform isn't printing product markup on that page, or it's printing it in a format other than JSON-LD.
This tool reads JSON-LD only. Google also reads Microdata and RDFa, so a page that uses those formats can still carry product markup that won't show here.
Properties Google wants on a Product block
The validator tells you a Product block exists and parses. It doesn't read the properties inside it, and it doesn't say whether the page can get rich results. Check the block against Google's rules below, then run the page through Google's Rich Results Test.
- On a page where people can't buy, such as a review or comparison page, Google needs name and at least one of review, aggregateRating or offers.
- On a page where people buy from you, Google needs name, image and offers, and the Offer needs price and priceCurrency.
