How to use the keyword suggestions
- 1Type a Seed keyword. Two or three words works best, such as seo audit or running shoes.
- 2Pick your Target market, the country your customers search from. It starts on United States.
- 3Press Find, or hit Enter.
- 4Read the table: Keyword, Volume (monthly searches) and KD. KD is green below 40, amber from 40 and red from 70.
- 5Skip rows that are the same words in a different order, and keep the ones that match what your page offers.
When to use it
- You have a page topic but only one keyword in mind, and want the other ways people phrase it.
- You're planning blog posts and want real searches to write about instead of guesses.
- Your main keyword is too hard to rank for and you want easier searches around it.
- You sell outside the US and need search volumes for your own country.

Two things to notice. First, audit seo and seo audit show the same 4,400 searches and the same KD of 77. Rows like that are one search written two ways, so count them once. Second, seo audit services has 1,900 searches and a KD of 14, against 77 for seo audit. People typing it want to hire someone, and it is by far the easier of the two to rank for.
