SEO for employment agencies

An employment agency was one of the cleanest runs in our August 2026 benchmark, and its niche turned out unusually winnable. Here is why.

A page per placement type

The keyword map matches each search to a page, transfer placements, new applicants, specific roles, and names the missing pages. Agencies usually have three pages and thirty searches; the map is where that gap becomes a build list.

Help centre: Keyword map
  • Weekly rank tracking against real rivals

Your keywords are checked weekly against the agencies actually ranking, with history kept. When a new placement page ships, the position moves or it does not, and either way you see it with a date attached.

  • Articles for the questions employers ask

Fees, timelines, paperwork, how to choose an agency: the writer drafts against what already ranks for each question, scores its own draft, and revises until it clears the bar. What it could not verify it flags for you rather than asserts.

  • Discovery with evidence per pick

In our August 2026 benchmark, discovery for this niche returned 7 genuine rival agencies out of 10 candidates with no directories among them. Each pick carries the pages it ranks with, so you can see why it is on the list before approving it.

Questions people in this niche ask

The ones that decide whether this fits, answered with the verdict first.

What makes this niche more winnable than others?
The SERPs are owned by agencies, not platforms. In our August 2026 benchmark this was the one niche where discovery returned zero directories, which means the sites above you are sites you can out-page, not marketplaces you cannot.
Should we build a page per nationality and role?
Where the searches exist, yes. The keyword map makes that call per keyword from live data for your market, so you build the combinations people type and skip the ones they do not.
Can the writer handle the regulatory side of our copy?
It drafts around it, not through it. Licensing and fee rules are jurisdiction-specific, so drafts flag regulatory statements for your review rather than asserting them, and you remain the source of the compliant wording.
We compete with big platforms for some searches. What then?
The plan should say which searches those are and deprioritise them. Difficulty data per keyword makes the platform-owned terms visible, and the agency-owned terms are where your pages go first.
How fast can we expect movement?
No honest date exists. What you get is measurement from day one: weekly positions per keyword, so movement or its absence is a fact on a chart rather than a debate with your marketing spend.

What we will not do

We will not write placement statistics you cannot back with your own records.
