What a credit is

One credit is roughly one expensive run: one audit, or one AI generation. They exist because every one of those makes real calls to a search data provider and an AI model, and those cost money whether the result is useful to you or not.

Seats are people in your workspace. Client users who only read a project they have been assigned are not counted the same way as team members - see Projects, workspaces and who can see what.

Billing is not switched on yet. Nothing in the app charges a card today, and there is no checkout to complete. When it goes live you will be told before anything is billed, not after.

Rate limits

Separate from credits, expensive endpoints are rate limited per IP to keep one runaway script from degrading the service: audits and analyses at 5 a minute, report generation at 3, support chat at 10. If you hit one you get a clear message, and it clears within the minute.

When it goes wrong

"You have run out of credits." Your period allowance is used up. Credits reset each billing period.

Your usage looks higher than your activity. Deep audits are separate runs. Running all three on one site is four credits, not one, counting the main audit.

Something charged you unexpectedly. It should not have - billing is not live. Tell us through Support and include the date, and it becomes a card the team triages.
